Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how BETHEGUESTS LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17326236), trading as BeTheGuests (“we”, “us”), collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our platform. We are the controller of your personal data for the purposes of applicable data protection law, including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR.

• Account & contact data — name, email, phone, password (hashed).
• Ticket offer claims and reminders — submitting the “Claim offer” form creates an AED 150 discount claim and records your agreement to receive up to three IMG offer reminder emails from BeTheGuests, normally after 15 minutes, one day and shortly before your saved offer expires if you have not purchased, adjusted for quiet hours and checkout activity. You can book at the standard price without signing up. We store your name, email, agreement time and wording version in Supabase, and use our email and automation providers to send reminders. Old claims are not enrolled retrospectively. Every reminder has an unsubscribe link; withdrawing permission stops reminders without revoking an already claimed discount. A private cookie remembers new claims in this browser for 7 days. Email links can restore that same saved claim on another device within its original expiry. Contact us to request deletion of your claim details.
• Analytics on every visit — Google Analytics, Google Ads measurement and Microsoft Clarity run on every visit to this site. There is no opt-in prompt. They record pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, device and browser details, and verified ticket purchases (order value and tickets, not your name, email or payment card). Google may use this data for ads. Clarity records masked session replays of public pages; private booking confirmations, recovery links, account and admin pages are excluded. Older offer claims may hold a record of the measurement wording shown when they were made. See our Cookie Policy for how to limit this.
• Booking data — the Experiences you book, dates, traveller numbers and any details required by the Operator.
• Payment data — processed securely by our payment processor; we receive confirmation and limited details (such as the last four digits), not your full card number.
• Usage data — device, browser, pages viewed and interactions, collected via cookies and similar technologies.
• Communications — messages you send us and your marketing preferences.

• To process bookings and deliver tickets, vouchers and confirmations.
• To provide customer support and manage cancellations and refunds.
• To operate, secure and improve the platform and prevent fraud.
• To send service messages, and — with your consent where required — marketing about relevant Experiences.
• To comply with legal and accounting obligations.

We rely on: performance of a contract (to fulfil your bookings); legitimate interests (to run, secure and improve the site, and to measure visits, bookings and advertising with the analytics tools described above); consent (for offer reminder emails, which you can withdraw at any time); and legal obligation (for tax and compliance).

We share personal data only as needed to run the service:

• Experience Operators — the details required to fulfil your booking.
• Payment processors (e.g. Stripe) — to take payment securely.
• Communications & analytics providers (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Ads and Microsoft Clarity for usage and advertising measurement) and our fulfilment automation.
• Authorities or advisers — where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

Some providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, including to meet legal, accounting and dispute-resolution requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our practices regularly.

The platform is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children without appropriate consent; bookings involving minors should be made by a responsible adult.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
